Two and Three Dimensional Prototyping

Higbee, Inc. works very closely with our customers' engineers, and as a result, we are often involved in projects before a design is finalized. Using our waterjet, we can produce prototype parts quickly without tooling expense. This allows our customers to try multiple designs in an application, or quickly prototype new parts as an assembly or flange design changes.

We have also encountered situations where a flange was not designed with sealability in mind, and there is insufficient closure force to seal an application. At a reasonable price, Higbee can supply a three dimensional prototype of the application you are trying to seal. This can be done in a matter of days using your 3D CAD file and stereolithography technology, giving your prototype the look and feel of production materials but lacking only the impact strength of the real part. This allows engineers to make design changes to the flange, insert a gasket, and test the results.
